As many of you know, Rachel's dad was recently invited to the White House to brief President Bush on his work in cellulosic biomass. In a transition between undergraduate and dental school, I had a chance to work in the Biomasss Conversion Research Laboratory at Michigan State. I even was able to help out in some of the research. So it is very exciting to see all the efforts that Rachel's dad has put in to this area of research get national attention. Here are some photos taken during his visit:
